Role
Who you are
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a data/business intelligence analyst
- Expert in SQL and experience using data warehouse platforms such as Athena
- Ideally has some expertise in python and relevant libraries for data processing, such as NumPy, SciPy and Pandas (or willing to learn)
- Understanding of approaches to data storage and relational data architectures
- Demonstrates an analytical mindset with a passion for seeking insights and context behind data and numbers
- Technical-minded individual who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders
What the job involves
- Work within the Tech Team to support all data tasks and be the in-house data expert
- Write SQL queries based on data requirements given by Finance team and other parts of the business (currently using AWS Athena as our main data store) to generate reports
- Cleaning and validating existing data stored in our data warehouse and / or Salesforce
- Using our data warehouse and / or external data sources to update our operational data stored in Salesforce
- Advising the business in defining our data roadmap and advancing our products and services from a data perspective
- Ensure that data tracking and capture follow best practices. Identify areas of improvement in the reporting capability of our primary product in collaboration with other teams

While the bike hire market provides adults around the world with a wide variety of options, children have been almost exclusively left out of the equation. The Bike Club is disrupting the bike subscription space by offering a range of children’s bikes and scooters in addition to adult bikes, to make long-term bike hire a family affair.
The monthly subscription fee is already more affordable than other bike subscriptions in the space, and also has a variety of options, from the choice of used/new equipment to bike size and type. One major benefit for parents is no longer having to purchase a new bike or scooter as children outgrow them.
A key result of the B Corp Certified company’s circular economy is that fewer bikes need to be produced each year, meaning each of its bikes saves 336kg of CO2 compared to an owned bike. With over 55,000 active members across the UK and Germany as well as substantial funding, the Bike Club is well set to see continued growth and is looking toward expansion into France.
