Who you are

At least three (3) years of direct sales experience in a Sales role or equivalent, preferably in a B2B environment
At least three (3) years of SaaS experience
Knowledge of security services, including SaaS and platform as a service technology
Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and LinkedIn for developing Partner relationships
Familiarity with Pax8’s full line of security products
Knowledge of Cyber Security, DevOps, Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Basic SaaS architecture, Networking, Open-Source Technology, and Best Practices for Cloud SaaS
Ability to speak to and sell Pax8’s value proposition for Cloud Security SaaS
Understanding of network connectivity, the Internet, and cloud computing technology
Proven track record of over-achieving quota attainment (in the top 10-20% of sales reps) in past positions
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
CompTIA security+ certification attainment is expected within the first 1 year of employment
B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

What the job involves

The Security Solution Consultant is responsible for selling Pax8’s Cloud Security Software as a Service (SaaS) products to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) across various industries and regions in the United States and Canada
They use creative methods to engage new and current leads, manage a sales pipeline, and address any concerns from MSP Partners
Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries about our Cloud Security SaaS products via video chat, email and phone
Creatively follows up with new and existing leads to maintain active engagement
Assess Partner and customer needs, provide product demonstrations, close sales, and place orders for Cloud Security SaaS products
Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to close deals when needed
Build and manage sales pipelines and forecast monthly sales
Assist in resolving customer concerns by working with the Service Delivery team to investigate issues
Maintain customer sales account records in Salesforce and prepare various reports

Pax8 provides an online marketplace for cloud-based software, allowing businesses to order, bill, manage, and provision cloud products within a single place. The marketplace contains a curated catalogue of cloud providers, a license management dashboard, demo infrastructure and tools for billing and invoicing, ultimately ensuring that users do not need to navigate outside the platform to manage their cloud software inventory.

Whilst many of the services provided by Pax8 are already included in cloud software applications, the company has made the smart move of partnering with software providers such as Bam Boom Cloud to unify all management tools into a single platform. By ensuring companies can browse, purchase, and manage cloud solutions within the marketplace, the company aims to increase accessibility and minimise complexities associated with cloud computing.
