Program Manager, Stripe

• 1+ years of people management experience or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in technology process management
• Hands-on experience building risk and compliance or infrastructure programs for internal or external customers
• 8+ years of experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• The ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
• Clear and persuasive writing and in-person communication
• It’s not expected that you’ll have deep expertise in every dimension above, but you should be interested in learning any of the areas that are less familiar

Desirable

• The Technology Risk and Controls team ensures compliance, stability and reliability of Stripe’s core infrastructure and technology against audit and regulatory needs
• The team builds and maintains a controls library resilient with changing tech stack and risk landscape and performs oversight and monitoring of technology posture and control health
• You will join one of the teams behind infrastructure platforms used by engineering, security, and business partners at Stripe
• You will oversee the development of solutions that may be “from scratch”, built on top of in-house platforms, or leveraging 3rd party solutions
• We expect that working along the team’s technical leaders, you will be able to ensure that your team processes to best integrate into Stripe’s technology organization
• We are a highly effective team, consistently delivering high-impact results while genuinely caring for each other
• Work with other Stripe leaders to design and lead the development of processes and controls that best fulfill Stripe’s compliance and risk obligations
• Conduct regular risk assessments in line with common risk frameworks such as NIST or ISO
• Partner with engineering teams to plan and implement initiatives that reduce technology risks and address the needs of any new or evolving compliance requirements
• Define a vision for technology risk management, and implement it through a series of initiatives you lead or partner on within your team
• Contribute to engineering-wide and program management initiatives as a member of Stripe’s engineering and program management team
