Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with proficiency in HubSpot, SQL, modern marketing technology, and advanced spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets and Excel, and who excels at transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform decisions across sales, marketing and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years in revenue operations, sales/marketing operations, or a similar analytical role
- Proven experience managing HubSpot CRM and marketing automation tools
- Hands-on experience using SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros, and scripts)
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and actionable insights
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase)
- In-depth understanding of sales processes and operational best practices
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large, complex data sets effectively
- Familiarity with APIs or automation tools to streamline workflows
- Knowledge of predictive analytics and advanced modeling techniques
What the job involves
- Mixlab is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager to optimize and manage marketing and sales operations while supporting broader business analysis needs
- This role combines operational expertise with strong analytical, technical, and business intelligence skills
- Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing optimization of email service providers (ESPs) and marketing automation platforms (namely Iterable and HubSpot Marketing Hub)
- Work closely with Engineering or external vendors to integrate ESPs and marketing platforms via API
- Ensure accurate data flow between CRM, ESPs, and analytics platforms to support personalized campaigns and performance tracking
- Troubleshoot sync errors, mapping issues, and delivery problems to maintain clean and effective communication pipelines
- Develop, implement, and refine sales processes, workflows, and reporting mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with sales leadership to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize the sales cycle
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of HubSpot CRM to meet the needs of the sales organization
- Manage integrations between HubSpot and other tools (e.g., marketing automation platforms and BI tools)
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in HubSpot, Google Sheets, and Excel to monitor KPIs, sales forecasts, and team performance
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Present data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Leverage Google Sheets and Excel for advanced data analysis, complex calculations, and process automation (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros, scripts)
- Design and manage templates, trackers, and models to streamline sales reporting and forecasting
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all sales reporting platforms
- Use SQL to query, analyze, and manipulate data from internal databases and external sources
- Collaborate across teams to manage database integrations and ensure data consistency
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Digital and Operations teams to align strategies and share insights
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and execution
- Support strategic initiatives by delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations
- Provide cross-department support as needed
Our take
The pharmacy experience has dramatically changed in recent years with the advent of at-home delivery. However the veterinary side of the industry is not keeping up with these developments.
Mixlab is modernising the pharmacy experience for vets and our pets. Veterinarians that use Mixlab’s digital service can streamline their daily medication workflow, giving them more time to spend on actual patients.
The startup is now going further than just delivery and administrative streamlining and is making its own medications on-demand that are flavored and dosed. It's in this vein that the company wants to continue to expand - providing a pharmaceutical service that humans would be jealous of.
It's an impressive ambition but ultimately will rely on the trust of its veterinarian customers. So far, in this respect Mixlab has delivered, with a 50% increase in sales over 2023 as well as enjoying a $10 million extension of its Series A funding. This will be channeled into opening new locations in the Miami area and bringing its new medications and over-the-counter wellness products to market. With the company nearing profitability, it's clear that Mixlab's bite matches its bark.
