Our take
Internal processes and grunt work can drain time from any tech business, bogging down their employees by having them waste their time and talents on tedious tasks. Helping businesses to simplify and streamline their operations is Otera (formerly DeepOpinion), that develops tools to automate processes that would otherwise have to be done manually.
The company began by delivering no-code text and document workflows, steadily expanding its offering into its current shape - a platform to transform critical and regulated processes into end-to-end autonomous operations. It employs AI decision agents and guardrails, enabling businesses to retain visibility and control, while only having to intervene when it is truly necessary.
Serving a wealth of large enterprise clients, Otera has grown substantially since its inception, picking up around €13 million in funding along the way. With more and more businesses turning to AI-led automations, but growing caution about giving over too much control, the company should sit in an excellent position to cater to evolving business needs.
