Role
Who you are
- Machinify is seeking a visionary, hands-on and technically deep Engineer Manager to lead our core product team!
- The ideal candidate has a range of skills across systems and tech stack migrations, backend services development, and a combination of technical and people leadership
- You get excited by developing performant platforms and web applications for delivering customer impact
- You challenge the team on using tools that scale velocity, including influencing automating testing and AI code generation
- 3+ years of combined technical leadership and engineering management experience of high-performing teams
- 8+ years of production application development, backend services experience, and developing API's/micro-services at scale
- Proficiency with C#.NET, SQL Server, and Angular, including the ability to evaluate technical solutions and mentor team members in these technologies
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Python, Rust, Java, or Go
- Experience working alongside data science or machine learning engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including deployment and scalability best practices
- Proven project management skills within Agile and Scrum environments
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication abilities
- Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills
- Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field

- Our Engineering team features high-performing software developers and data engineers who enjoy being at the cutting edge
- Lead the development and production releases of robust web application systems and intuitive solutions for our Right Payer Solutions product lines
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality development efforts; monitor and adjust plans to meet objectives
- Oversee and guide development efforts leveraging C#.NET, SQL Server, Angular, and future development in Rust, Java, or Scala to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural standards
- Collaborate effectively with data science and machine learning engineering teams to integrate models and analytics into production systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operations and prioritize technology solutions
- Champion business process automation and continuous improvement
- Foster strategic relationships with senior stakeholders
- Apply retrospective insights to improve team performance and delivery velocity
- Build self-sufficient Agile teams and support individual development through targeted growth plans
- Perform code reviews from team to determine employee productivity
