What the job involves
- The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Care Continuity plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities
- This position requires a proactive and results-driven individual to generate new leads, qualify prospects, and schedule meetings with potential customers, including hospitals, health systems, accountable care organizations (ACOs), payers, and other healthcare entities
- The BDR will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential clients through targeted outreach, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn engagement, and networking events
- Develop a deep understanding of target accounts, decision-makers, and key stakeholders to personalize outreach efforts
- Utilize intent data, market research, and competitive intelligence to refine prospecting strategies
- Engagement & Outreach:
- Craft compelling messaging tailored to the needs and pain points of prospects to generate interest in Care Continuity's solutions
- Conduct initial outreach and discovery conversations to assess potential fit and business needs
- Follow up on inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns to further qualify opportunities
- Sales Pipeline Development:
- Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings and product demos with the sales team
- Ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team by providing detailed background information
- Maintain a consistent flow of high-quality leads to support revenue growth
- Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align outbound efforts with campaigns, events, and content marketing initiatives
- Provide feedback on messaging, objections, and competitive insights to enhance lead generation effectiveness
- Participate in regular sales meetings to discuss pipeline health, challenges, and areas for improvement
- Event & Tradeshow Support:
- Assist with pre-event outreach and scheduling meetings in advance of trade shows and industry conferences
- Attend events as needed to engage with prospects and expand professional networks
- Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and scheduled meetings
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as call volume, email response rates, and conversion metrics
- Continuously optimize outreach strategies based on data-driven insights
