What the job involves

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will work on the frontend as well as the backend side of our product and therefore will take full ownership of the features you are creating
After you develop a comprehensive understanding of the components of our product, you are given full responsibility to extend them and build on them in ways that make our product more valuable, more reliable, and better structured to ensure future maintainability
Our frontend is based on React and our backend is written in Node.js, using GraphQL
We use TypeScript for the entire codebase
For data storage, we use MySQL and Elasticsearch
We are serious about testing, with a large library of Cypress end-to-end tests
Our infrastructure is based on AWS and Kubernetes
We have a well-functioning CI/CD pipeline and deploy to production every day

Our take

Cosuno predicts that traditional methods of bidding and awarding construction services are obsolete, associated with significant wasted time and a lack of transparency. The startup aims to solve this problem by developing a B2B marketplace that provides project managers access to a database of around 80,000 subcontractors related to the construction industry.

Consuno's business model involves charging clients a monthly fee for access to their Software-as-a-Service product. Clients advertise their projects on the platform, receive applications from contractors in the area and approve the bids from the applicant selected. By 2021, over €1bn were processed in transactions through the platform since its conception.

The construction industry is currently experiencing rapid growth, leading to a scarce labor force and increased prices. Cosuno aims to capitalize on this opportunity by digitizing the construction industry and providing project managers with a one-stop shop that allows them to manage everything related to working with construction subcontractors on just one platform.
