Client Solutions Engineer, Cover Genius

• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years programming experience in Python, Java, or PHP
• 2 years of experience with web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, XML, etc
• Customer-facing experience in sales, sales engineering, consulting or related function
• Strong strategic, analytical and tactical skills; must be able to create plans then roll up your sleeves and get things done
• Experience in managing technically complex products in a B2B technology environment
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
• Excellent presentation and organisational skills

Desirable

• Scope each partner engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
• Work with the partnership team to identify new partnership opportunities, prepare technical sales material, develop proof of concepts and present demonstrations to win new business
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Cover Genius’ product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues
• Develop, design and implement full stack web applications to demonstrate Cover Genius technology using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and either Python, Node, or PHP
• Use SQL, Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio and related technologies to identify and present actionable business growth opportunities to partners
• Manage multiple partner engagements concurrently, and own each by being the primary point of contact for partners
• Ensure timely and successful integrations through managing internal and external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for improving process, make recommendations and implement changes through automation of activities to optimise client engagements
• Be able and willing to travel circa 20% of the time
