Role
Who you are
- 4–8+ years of experience in taxation, financial planning, wealth management, or advisory
- Active CPA required (or EA with significant tax planning experience). CFP, CFA, or ECA a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex tax scenarios and communicate them simply
- Strong grasp of tax planning, retirement strategies, cash flow modeling, equity comp, business-owner considerations, and portfolio mechanics
- Exceptional communication skills and acute attention to detail
- Comfortable with high volumes of client interactions (video, phone, asynchronous)
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence product direction
- Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with tax and planning tools; comfort working with data
- Bias toward ownership, pace, clarity, and solving problems end-to-end
- Series 7, 63 and 65/66 preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently licensed
What the job involves
- We’re hiring a CPA / Advisor (Senior Financial Planner) to build the tax planning engine behind Titan’s advisory experience
- You’ll deliver high-quality tax and financial plans, support advisors in complex client conversations, and help turn tax planning into a scalable, tech-enabled product
- This role sits at the intersection of tax strategy, financial planning, client education, and system design
- You’ll work closely with our Director of Wealth Advisory, advisory team, and product/engineering to transform one-on-one technical work into workflows and tools that scale to tens of thousands of households
- If you’re excited by the intersection of tax, planning, and technology, and motivated to rebuild the wealth management experience from the ground up, this is the role
- Deliver world-class tax-centric planning: Build modular and comprehensive plans that integrate tax projections, retirement optimization, filing strategies, equity comp, college planning, and entity considerations. Translate complexity into simple next steps for clients
- Multiply advisor capacity: Reduce prep time through tax templates, projections, workflows, and decision trees. Support advisors in structuring cases and identifying opportunities for wallet share expansion
- Architect the systems that scale tax planning: Codify the “Titan Tax Standard,” build our internal knowledge base, and help identify which tax workflows can be automated, templatized, or delegated
- Educate clients with clarity: Explain tax implications, planning choices, and investment considerations in a way that inspires confidence—not confusion
- Analyze tax + investment strategies with precision: Run tax projections, evaluate rollover options, model Roth conversions, assess AMT triggers, evaluate exercise strategies, perform multi-year scenarios, and tie advice back to investment implications
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Investment Research, Growth/Marketing, and Engineering/Product/Design to ensure Titan remains laser-focused on what matters most to clients

Titan is an investment management platform designed to help everyday investors, particularly millennials, manage their portfolios with ease and lower capital requirements. The company offers a unique approach to investing by providing access to sophisticated investment strategies traditionally reserved for large investors.
