Company mission

To help everyday Americans build a brighter financial future.

Role

Who you are

  • 4+ years investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy experience
  • Strong attention to detail, highly analytical and proficient with presentations
  • Ability to drive end-to-end projects with little guidance or supervision
  • Resourceful and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done
  • Strong written and oral communicator
  • Comfortable working under pressure against aggressive deadlines
  • Highly organized with a bias for action and strong sense of ownership and accountability

What the job involves

  • Develop robust, data-driven presentations for senior leadership, including the Board of Directors
  • Operationalize key organizational initiatives based on direction from our CEO and COO, monitor the status and push them forward
  • Work closely with our finance team on investor presentations and analysis
  • Manage ad hoc special projects end to end; i.e. set process, deadlines, and deliverables
  • One day you might be project managing our growing Affiliate program, and the following day, you’ll spend time writing investment memos. Up next, you could spend a few hours helping to prepare a board meeting deck or working on a strategic partnership program
  • Assist with Finance, Legal, People Ops, and other core operational tasks

Our take

Brigit is an algorithm-based personal finance app that helps underserved financial customers maintain financial health. It offers a raft of protective services including cash bumps to fend off overdraft charges, budgeting tools, and interest-free emergency loans.

In spite of this financially-oriented spread, Brigit has no intention of expanding into neo-banking. This is smart, as it allows the company to focus on a broad range of banner services without stepping into the far more competitive digital banking sector. Brigit has successfully united these disparate features under a strong customer-forward and socially-impactful identity, which gives the company the freedom to expand its services in response to new banking trends without diluting its brand.

It means, too, that Brigit can complement new and legacy banking solutions, instead of competing for space. This careful positioning should shore Brigit up in a sector undergoing continual and swift change.
