Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in immunology, biology, Molecular biology or related discipline or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree and/or MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of experience and success in product marketing and/or product management in life science research
- Hands on experience within a lab environment is preferred
- Knowledge of immunology, molecular biology, single cell genomics, cell therapy, cell line development is highly preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation in leadership or large audience settings both virtual and in person
- Strong market knowledge in Academic/Biotech/Pharma/CRO research settings
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, project management software (e.g. Monday.com or Asana), inbound marketing and sales tools (e.g. Hubspot) and CRM software tools (e.g. Salesforce)
- Highly motivated and team player with a proactive approach to developing the business and ownership of its maintenance
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, dynamic environment
What the job involves
- Responsible for developing and communicating differentiating product, application and use case messaging to appeal to customers from different market segments
- This product marketing manager will focus on strategic planning of campaigns with compelling message to drive lead generation and revenue growth
- This role will be a highly collaborative role between the different commercial functioning teams
- Develop product positioning and key messaging for product, application and use case relevant to buyer journey and different customer segments
- Create powerful and creative go-to-market strategies, and marketing campaigns to build customer awareness, education and persuasion
- Track key performance metrics to ensure programs are effective, iterate marketing activities and drive towards higher demand across different market segments
- Partner with cross functional groups: Marketing, Application and Sales team members to supporting the goals, strategies and overall direction of the company
- Collaborate with Applications team and Field team to develop customer advocates among within target market segments. Identify collaboration opportunities, drive publications, and leverage customer influence towards broader awareness
- Understand key market trends, barriers, competitive intelligence, customer insight or needs that may influence future product portfolio direction
- Build presentations and train field sales and application teams on new and existing products
- Travel: 25%, in office and remote work
