Role
Who you are
- (min. 3 years) in native mobile design, UX/UI design, and developing consumer facing products is a must
- Demonstrable use of iterative design processes, testing solutions, and using feedback to continually improve your designs
- Working knowledge of service design and its principles
- Understanding of the tech behind third-party integrations and the use of APIs to achieve seamless customer journeys
- At ease working in Figma, and collaborating with engineering teams using Agile processes and ways of working
- Experienced managing stakeholder expectations, and communicating directly with the team at all levels of seniority
Desirable
- Background in hospitality/F&B/food ordering/delivery apps
- Experience creating B2B SaaS platforms and web-based tooling
- Arabic speaking
- Experience working with international teams, across different time zones
What the job involves
- Creating end-to-end user-centred designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups
- Implementing robust designs systems, maintaining and adjusting them as needed
- Ensuring UX principles are appropriately applied throughout our digital products, and help and support other teams to do the same
- Translating requirements into style guides, design patterns and appealing user interfaces
- Collaborating effectively at every level of the business, with product, engineering, brand, operations and property teams
- Supporting the Brand team with creating original graphic designs
- Advocating for best practice with regards platform responsiveness, usability and accessibility, and prioritising features and work accordingly
- Keeping up to date with latest tech developments and design trends, and proactively sharing them with the team and implement them within the products
- Facilitating the integration of third-party software solutions that help us move faster
