Who you are

5+ years of data analytics experience - excellent scripting skills in SQL, Tableau, or similar for the purpose of data gathering, QA, analytics, and modeling
BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or relevant disciplines. MSc will be considered a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to focus and prioritize
Prior experience managing stakeholders, complex projects, and providing mentorship
Experience with modern BI & Analytics tech stack
Agile team-working experience, project management experience, and excellent team spirit
Knowledge of data libraries such as sklearn and pandas, Python, and ML techniques such as Decision Trees, Regression, Clustering, SVM, Bayesian networks is a strong plus

What the job involves

Develop new, regular and automated reports from existing databases
Provide end to end KPI tracking or ad hoc analysis as required by defining requirements and providing business insights
Develop new models and tools, and communicate findings to leadership and wider team to enable informed strategic decisions
Manage QA data, data processes, KPIs, and various metrics
Act as liaison with key business partners, ensuring full understanding of data flow, data integrity, and business systems quality
Conduct A/B testing

Taking clear inspiration from Airbnb, Blueground caters to the increasing demand for all medium and long-stay rentals - both from holidayers seeking more unique stays, and the growing nomadic workforce. Its focus on the renter experience - with additional services, such as regular housekeeping or maintenance, available through its app - is what makes the company stand out in the space.

Blueground has stated aims to have a presence in 50 cities around the world and a portfolio of more than 50,000 apartments by 2025, an ambitious goal that will rely heavily on its ability to scale its operationally-intensive business (due to the local support teams required). The recent acquisition of corporate housing specialist Travellers' Haven will enable it to expand its US footprint, as it invests its 2024 funds into growth.
