Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred
- Deep knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules and regulation
- Broad knowledge of industry wide events and trends impacting examination programs
- Experience managing projects
- Excellent business judgment, oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to take ownership over your work and thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Comfort navigating complexities and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges associated with scaling a company
What the job involves
- Partner across the legal, compliance, risk, and business lines to ensure audits, examinations, information and document requests, and compliance testing remain on track, with strong resulting performance
- Facilitate communications with and draft responses to requests issuing from regulators, audit, compliance, due diligence, and other DriveWealth partners
- Evaluate the effectiveness of controls in place to mitigate identified risk and review evidence and document testing results in a comprehensive and organized manner
- Participate in the design and successful execution of internal control examinations; provide strategic and proactive consultation in identifying risk exposures; and develop solutions that address potential weaknesses as well as regulatory compliance issues
- Analyze and provide guidance on relevant rules, regulations, and trends impacting DriveWealth in particular and the financial services industry generally
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure accurate management of legal docket and case preparation
