Role
Who you are
- 3+ years experience in business operations / strategy & operations, management consulting, investment banking, and/or technology
- Strong data and analytics skills, including fluency in Excel / Google Sheets, SQL, and BI / data visualization tools
- Experience with automation platforms (Clay, Zapier, n8n) or willingness to learn through hands-on experimentation
- Familiarity with AI tools and APIs for workflow automation
- Strong cross-functional and executive communication skills, including a proven ability to influence without authority and build strong working relationships with business partners
- Most importantly, curiosity and willingness to learn by tinkering
What the job involves
- The mission of the Revenue Operations team is to transform how we build revenue engines using AI and automation
- Rather than simply adding more people to fix growth bottlenecks, we're looking for somebody who can design and build automated workflows that amplify our entire GTM organization
- This role bridges the gap between strategic thinking and technical execution - part commercial thinker, part builder
- As a Revenue Operations and Analytics Associate, your role will range from conducting research that identifies and evaluates key strategic trends in the industry to developing a single point of view on how we operate the business
- This role will report to the Head of GTM Analytics, and will partner closely with various stakeholders including but not limited to Sales and Account Management
- Strategic planning & goal-setting: Define and track essential KPIs and metrics for the GTM team to gain a comprehensive understanding of our go-to-market performance
- Stay informed about key trends and conduct analyses to uncover new insights that support strategic decision-making
- Development of data foundations and execution of data-driven initiatives: Leverage SQL expertise to address critical questions about our market and growth opportunities
- Build automated workflows using AI and no-code tools to replace manual GTM processes and amplify team productivity across sales and marketing functions
- Ownership of reporting and analytics: Create and distribute regular reports and dashboards to key stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Leverage analytics techniques and AI tooling to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and improvement
- Utilize strong analytical skills to address key business questions and uncover growth opportunities
- Support customer reporting needs for key stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

Around 57 million workers in the U.S. work on a 'gig' basis, providing short-term and one-off employment for a range of industries. However, due to the temporary nature of gig work, workers and understaffed employers are regularly let down by cancellations.
Instawork hosts an online marketplace that connects gig workers with local businesses across a variety of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, and warehouse work. Workers are paid hourly upon completion of a gig, at which point both the employer and worker themselves can provide feedback on the experience.
Whilst the startup faces competition within this gig-work industry, Instawork holds a smart focus on providing reliable and short-notice workers for businesses that need them. Gigs can be arranged within just a few hours of notice, and any employer or employee who cancels a job will be temporarily suspended in order to improve job success rates. Instawork's 2023 Series D funding is accelerating its AI capabilities and expanding its presence within staff distribution centres for some of the American continent's largest retailers and sports stadiums.
