Role
Who you are
- Experience in software, cloud, or technology sales (VAR, MSP, or IT services preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud consumption models
- Strong consultative selling and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure opportunities in a sales or pre‑sales role
- Understanding of Microsoft CSP and cloud commercial models
- Experience working with technical architects or consultants
- Microsoft / Azure certifications (or willingness to work towards them)
What the job involves
- As an Azure Sales Specialist you will lead initial customer conversations, align requirements to Azure services, and determine when deeper technical engagement is required
- Simpler opportunities may be supported end‑to‑end, with complex scenarios progressed alongside Azure Architects
- Partner with Account Managers to uncover and qualify Microsoft Azure opportunities
- Translate customer challenges into Microsoft Azure ‑ aligned use cases
- Build and progress pipeline across infrastructure, migration, optimisation, security, resilience and modernisation
- Lead early‑stage discovery and provide high‑level solution scoping
- Engage Azure Architects where technical depth is required
- Support opportunity shaping, forecasting, and deal closure
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data
