Who you are
- 5+ years in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering
- Deep knowledge of conversational AI/chatbot platforms
- Enterprise sales experience with complex, technical products
- Track record of influencing product decisions, not just selling
- Can code (Python/JavaScript) but prefer building POCs to writing production code

- Experience with contact center technology (NICE, Genesys, Five9)

What the job involves
- Surfly is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer with a product focus to lead the technical go-to-market strategy for Webfuse, our new product that enables AI agents and chatbots to interact with web applications
- This is a Solutions Engineering role with unusual depth - you'll spend 50% of your time on traditional SE activities and 50% directly influencing product strategy alongside our CEO
- Lead technical sales for strategic Webfuse opportunities (€50K+ deals)
- Build POCs integrating chatbot platforms (11Labs, Cognigy, CM) with Webfuse
- Own RFP responses and security assessments
- Enable partners and internal teams on Webfuse capabilities
- Weekly 1:1s with CEO to shape product roadmap based on field insights
- Define our integration strategy with conversational AI platforms
- Build the "blueprint ecosystem" - reusable templates that become our moat
- Represent customer voice in monthly product planning sessions
- Own competitive intelligence for web automation + AI space

- Product Exercise (take-home) - Design a Webfuse integration strategy
- Final Round (90 min) - Present to CEO + team, discuss product vision
Our take
Customer service is one of the most frustrating costs borne by insurers and banks selling complex products. Surfly helps agents deal with requests through their co-browsing software allowing them to take over a customer’s web-session.
Unlike other co-browsing and video call customer service products, Surfly allows you to co-browse the full web without needing to change or modify any code on any website or force you to a virtual browser.
The companies biggest challenge is competing in a saturated market of sticky customer service software. Companies may be reticent to retrain agents used to their workflows on another platform, but with good funding at its back Surfly certainly has a swinging chance.
