Role
Who you are
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Project Management
- Are excellent in analyzing and synthesizing data to provide actionable recommendations; leverage analytical models and frameworks to recommend actions
- Know what it takes to be a successful consultant to external customers, but also be “hands-on” and work with different stakeholders (secretaries, managers, etc.)
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Think solution-oriented
- Have experience in a fast-paced, constantly changing start-up environment
- Have excellent communication skills (both written and oral), including strong reporting and presentation skills
What the job involves
- A) Offer-side → increase the number of clinics and doctors integrated with insurers' portals as well as insurance availability in our platform and B) demand-side → increase bookings coming from insured patients
- Improve insurance penetration in our Marketplace by:
- Understanding doctors' & clinics' pain points and how to effectively tackle them with our solutions (including pitch & product)
- Understanding and improving, together with the product, patient journey to create a seamless experience
- Lead: Ensure the project team adheres to all standards and processes as defined
- Be the researcher and beta tester to build qualitative & quantitative business cases to understand and validate assumptions and follow up on their implementation
- Own any data requirements related to the project with support from other stakeholders
- Implement & and lead strategies (together with Sales / CS) to increase adoption, creating touchpoints, processes, and ICPs and iterating the itch
- Strong stakeholder engagement is essential for creating and maintaining relationships with many partners, such as clinic managers, insurers, IT teams, product teams, or other third parties
- Follow up on the project's main KPIs, problem-solve, and define and implement initiatives to achieve our objectives

Our take
Healthcare platform Docplanner has become a major player in the European healthtech market in the decade since it was founded. The company offers a suite of administrative tools for 30M patients and around 2M doctors worldwide, including workflow digitisation and appointment booking services. The company currently operate in 13 countries, hit Unicorn status in 2021, and has been riding a recent wave of digital transformation and workforce overburdening in the healthcare sector which has spurred on demand for precisely the kind of services they provide. So it’s safe to say business is going well.
What is most compelling about Docplanner’s business journey has been its long-brewing competition with their direct competitor, the fellow Unicorn and better-funded Doctolib. The tête-à-tête with this French/German rival has seen both parties making aggressive European expansion with national acquisitions - Doctolib in Italy, France, and Germany; Docplanner in Turkey, Poland, Spain, and Latin America. With Docplanner’s 2021 acquisition of German parallel platform Jameda, however, they are making moves on Doctolib’s home turf. The company has also acquired MyDr, a leading Polsih tech solutions provider.
These broad consolidation moves represent a maturation of the healthtech market which will serve both competitors well. Docplanner is certainly a key and aggressive contender in this race - and this company isn't going anywhere any time soon.
