Who you are
- Experienced in managing retail relationships and negotiating at national level, with a proven track record in sales and account management
- Fluent both in English and German and are capable of communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive, taking ownership of your role and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and results
- Strategic, with the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable retail strategies

What the job involves
- After profitably scaling our retail business to over €45M with distribution in >12,000 stores in less than two years, we're dedicated to further accelerating growth, transforming HOLY into a true omnichannel brand!
- The core mission is to maintain and intensify HOLY’s retail partnerships by ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable growth for our next growth stage. This role will be crucial for our retail success through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, supply chain, and operations
- In this role, you'll actively contribute to building a new drinks category together with our main retailers and play a crucial part in HOLY’s way to become the world’s most loved soft drink brand
- Full ownership: take end-to-end responsibility for assigned national customers and drive key KPIs to secure HOLY’s future success
- Manage and expand HOLY’s retail presence by intensifying existing partnerships
- Support cross-functional teams to align retail strategies with overall brand and supply chain objectives
- Deliver customized solutions for retail partners to ensure seamless operations and long-term satisfaction
- Assist in implementing omni-channel activation plans that align with the retail roadmap and developing innovative activation strategies that drive sales, brand visibility, and customer engagement in retail environments

- Hiring Manager interview with Tobi, our Head of Key Accounts: We will dive a bit deeper into your experience and details of the role
- Case study & on-site interview: As soon as you have successfully completed the first interviews, you will receive a case study. In a second meeting at our office, the team will discuss your case study with you and answer questions about our workspace, the HOLY Temple
- Reference calls: At this stage, we’d like to connect with 1–2 former colleagues or managers who have worked closely with you. These conversations help us better understand your working style and strengths from those who know you professionally
- Interview with Matze: As a strong cultural fit is important to us, you will have a final meeting with one of our HOLY Founders. This gives both you and us the opportunity for a final check
- Job offer and decision: If everything goes well, you will receive an offer and we are ready to embark you this journey together with you!

Our take
The soft drinks industry is big business, estimated to reach a value of over $600 billion by 2030. However, many of the biggest brands are full of unhealthy and unethically sourced ingredients that are not in line with the push for more sustainable products. HOLY is a German company that wants to disrupt the soft drink industry with healthier and more ethically sourced alternatives.
HOLY’s two flagship products are its energy drink and iced tea. With sugar and taurine-free ingredients, the products come in powder form, which saves 90% on packaging and significantly decreases the amount of CO2 emissions from manufacture and transport compared to canned drinks.
As with many soft drinks, HOLY’s branding is key. Its vivid designs and online presence increase its appeal for the gaming community, who would typically lean toward large competitors such as Monster Energy. With good funding at its back and a 2026 push into the UK market, HOLY is on the right path to compete with well-established rivals, having sold more than 10 million drinks solely via its online marketplace.
