Who you are
- Practical experience with cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes and other Cloud Native technologies (for instance: Docker, Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, etc.)
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab
- Experience with monitoring, alerting and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging)
- Result-oriented team player with a pragmatic approach and good communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Experience with Cloudflare
- Development experience with Java, Kotlin or Python is a plus
- Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!

- We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe, and we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team
- Join us on the quest to shape the way people learn, discover, and unwind through audio experiences and thereby enrich lives through listening
- By joining our small, ambitious cloud infrastructure team at Podimo, you'll be responsible for refining requirements, architecture, releases, testing, development, and maintenance of solutions
- Podimo is modernizing its cloud infrastructure and adopting scalable technologies with best practices
- As a DevOps Engineer, you'll influence key decisions to manage platform growth
- Our team works closely with development teams to build a self-service cloud infrastructure, sharing know-how, best practices, and creating reusable components
- We're looking for a motivated Engineer to be part of this transformative journey
- Design and deploy scalable, secure and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure
- Explore, test, and propose new tools that can improve platform ecosystem
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Document processes, procedures and best practices for cloud infrastructure management
- Ensure development tools and infrastructure is up-to-date

Podimo is a podcast and audiobook platform taking the Nordic Countries by storm with its service.
The company boasts its close connection with the creators it hosts on its platform, suggesting a healthy and appealing work relationship for creators to continue using Podimo as its host (an issue Spotify has had multiple times). The company's revenue-share model is not based on the size of following which gives the company a big boost up in the newer podcasters books.
Since its founding in 2019, Podimo has grown to 350+ employees across 20+ different countries and was named the fastest-growing podcast service in Finland. With Apple, Spotify, and Google, it’s easy to think smaller companies don’t have much chance, but Podimo is standing its ground in the Podcast sector and taking on big-name creators.
