Who you are
- Around 1 years experience in a professional environment (experience on phone or public speaking preferred) High ethical and moral standards and great at nourishing relationships
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English (ideally native German speaker)
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Previous experience developing leads through targeted direct outreach and marketing campaigns
- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to learn our subject matter fast
- High energy and positive attitude
- Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets
- Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
- Or other CRM experience a plus
- Outreach, SalesLoft or other Email Automation experience a plus
- Find, qualify, and connect with potential customers using AI-driven insights, intent signals, and data enrichment on Zoominfo
- Articulate and excellent follow up skills
- Strong desire to move up in other sales functions
- Interested in making a difference in the fight against crime
What the job involves
- We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team. Your role will involve sourcing and running the first interactions that we have with potential new enterprise clients
- How will you do this? Ravelin’s SDR’s work closely in “pods” with senior members of the sales teams to find the right people to speak to, run first class discovery and demo sessions to create momentum in the sale and ensure that each interaction we have with a merchant brings us a little closer to a new customer
- The day to day work requires an organised and strategic mind that can track many different campaigns of outreach across different industries. The SDR role will also require the new “Ravelino” to work closely not only with the Sales Team but also the marketing, account management and pre-sales functions

- Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in customer & prospect accounts
- Contact 30+ prospects daily via email, Linkedin and other various forms of outreach
- Qualify pre-opportunities by identifying Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeframe
- Generate pipeline through marketing programs and coordinate meetings with Account Execs
- Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)

Fraud is a multi-billion dollar problem for the eCommerce industry, and one that Ravelin is tackling head-on. The company develops machine learning-based technology to help online merchants and payment service providers reduce losses to fraud, and improve the acceptance rates of orders.
Ravelin aims to give merchants more confidence in accepting customers and transactions, while tackling organised fraud rings. The value of such an offering is clear, which is how the company has secured enterprise customers like Just Eat and Quiqup.
A 2022 partnership with Mastercard enabled Ravelin to enhance its platform with digital identity verification capabilities and real-time fraud insights. In 2025, it was acquired by Worldpay as part of its strategy to accelerate its eCommerce growth through investing in innovation and AI technology.
