Role
Who you are
- Analytically-minded: You have 3-7+ years experience in an analytical role (e.g. bizops, consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital), and are able to generate and test hypotheses through executing complex, multivariate analysis in Excel and SQL. We hire a range of experience levels to our team
- Structured problem solver: Ability to break complex business problems and customer objectives down into issue trees and ultimately generate data-backed recommendations
- Strong business acumen: Ability to transform quantitative insights into marketing, retail, and customer experience opportunities
- Clear communicator: Exhibits excellence in building a coherent, data-driven narrative in written (e.g., slides) and verbal (e.g., readouts) narrative that brings the customer along the journey
- Customer-focused: Able to empathize with consumers and customers alike
What the job involves
- You will engage our customers and collaborate with internal operations and business operations partners to:
- Drive the value chain for mystery shopping and retail audit campaigns across scoping projects, designing studies, conducting analysis and quality assurance, and delivering and socializing insights with customer stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality insights to the customer that builds customer trust and drive customer satisfaction and repeat rate
- Collaborate with our operations teams to design and execute studies at a high quality and profitability bar

Driven by the gig economy becoming more normalized and demand for flexible hours increasing, Shiftsmart saw its revenue increase by nearly 400%, and they put this success down to a competitively unique business model that sees more control being put in the hands of workers and employers alike. They have now done work in over 57 countries, and are operating tens of thousands of shifts each week.
Some user feedback suggests the company still has some kinks to iron out on their platform, with multiple complaints about delayed or missing payments. But with thousands of successful, efficient job placements found over the last few years, Shiftsmart are making strides in an area that looks set to remain in high demand.
