What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally in SaaS, e-commerce, or sustainability-focused platforms
Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work on web and mobile applications
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
Experience working with developers to implement designs
Passion for sustainability and user-centric design

What the job involves

Design and enhance the UX/UI of Sumus, focusing on our AI-powered features (Sense D1, Sense R1)
Collaborate with the product and development team to create intuitive user flows
Work on wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for web and mobile interfaces
Ensure accessibility and a seamless user experience across all touchpoints
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to refine designs iteratively
Opportunity to work on an impact-driven product that is reshaping commerce

Application Process for UX/UI Designer at Sumus
1. Initial Call & Portfolio Review
A 30-minute introductory call to discuss your experience, background, and interest in Sumus
Share your portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI work, particularly any relevant to AI, sustainability, or e-commerce
2. Design Task & Motivation Statement
A small task to assess your problem-solving approach and design thinking
A brief statement on why you want to work with Sumus and how you see yourself contributing to our mission
3. Final Interview & Offer
A second call to discuss your task, gather final insights, and align expectations
If successful, we’ll extend an offer
4. Contract & Onboarding
Signing the contract and setting up tools and resources
Official start date ASAP mid April, and you begin working with our team!
