Role
Who you are
- Software development experience in one of the following: Go (desirable), C#, Java, Python or C++
- Experience and know your way around web-related tech (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions...)
- Experience implementing APIs
- A curious individual and unafraid of digging deeper to understand how systems of all kinds work
- Interested in communicating with third-party gateways from a technical point of view as well as to maintain the best relationship as possible
Desirable
- Experience deploying applications as a part of a service-oriented architecture
- The notion of the Go programming language
- Knowledge in the payment ecosystem
- Exposure to working on critical services
What the job involves
- Your main task will be to integrate third party payment gateways to process live transactions
- You will also handle maintenance of current integrations, that means upgrading and optimizing our current code base
- You will work closely with technical teams to support third-party payment gateways in order to have the best integration as possible; leading to the best performance for our merchants
- You will work with different technologies such as Go, micro-services, AWS, databases and back-end software development
- We expect that you will be able to work on high-availability and technically challenging programs
- Payment gateway integrations
- Interacting with external APIs through an in-house framework
- Handling webhooks notifications
- Parsing bank reconciliation summary files
- Communication with third party payment gateways
- Design and implement new workflows on our services
