Role
Who you are
- Being one of the fastest growing Fintech businesses globally we are looking for an exceptionally talented and self-motivated individual
- Experienced in Sales, having at least 1-2 years of short Sales cycle selling
- Experience in leading Salespeople: whether as a mentor or a formal leadership role
- Passionate about building a high-performing team and committed to supporting the development of the people within it
- In the detail and able to identify and communicate trends in performance
- Sociable, with a desire to work in a company with a great culture

What the job involves
- To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are now seeking a Sales Team Leader to join our sales department
- You will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to build out an outbound function for the YouLend Sales team and will be instrumental in defining how success is achieved, measured and surpassed month on month
- Leading a team of between 6-10 account managers
- Ensure your team deliver great customer outcomes by providing a great service, whilst hitting their targets and staying motivated
- Be instrumental in the development of your team through both on-desk and off-desk coaching, training and feedback
- Monitor your team performance, both by working with them and guiding them on how to increase their efficiency and maximise results
- Working with our merchants, helping handle any managerial escalations from your team, including complaints
- Working on projects with internal stakeholders throughout the business to improve Sales processes and help your team sell more, more efficiently!

Securing funding can be complicated, arduous and often inaccessible to many companies. YouLend solves this problem by giving eCommerce platforms and tech companies better access to fast and flexible funding.
YouLend has benefited from the boom in the financial services industry, but this also means the company has had to compete with a number of other embedded finance startups, such as Weavr. Despite this, YouLend's focus on online merchants has allowed it to remain competitive in its offering. What's more, the company's revenue-based repayments system differentiates its solution from more established loan options.
YouLend's flexibility and the speed with which merchants can obtain funding has allowed it to gain a foothold in the growing embedded finance market. However, it will need to focus on growing its customer base even further if it wants to scale in this competitive space.
