Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence solutions
- Experience with data analysis languages (e.g., SQL) and data modeling
- Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently
- Experience with business methodology and value promoting, with the ability to discover and position solutions
- Experience with Looker portfolio or similar technology
Desirable
- Experience with managing and delivering successful proof-of-concepts focused on the customer value provided by the solution
- Experience responding to functional and technical elements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Ability to engage with C-level or business leaders and influence decisions
- Excellent leadership and public speaking skills, with the ability to create blogs and sales field enablement
What the job involves
- Work closely with Sales teams as an Enterprise Business Intelligence subject matter expert to differentiate and paint the direction of Google Cloud
- Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes of software to articulate use cases and value to the customer
- Manage technical proof-of-concepts, ensuring that prospects are engaging with the product
- Develop and recommend trusted data experiences to customers, at scale that improve productivity, decision making and innovation
- Travel internationally to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required

Following years of rapid hiring, and faced with a broader slowdown of ad spending, the company is being faced by weaker-than-expected revenue. CEO Sundar Pichai has recently announced that Google is reducing its head count by about 12,000 to adapt to global economic conditions. It will move to refocus its talent and capital to the company's highest priorities.
