Role
Who you are
- You have a deep understanding of the modern security landscape
- You have extensive experience in implementing security frameworks and compliance practices in a cloud-native environment (we run in GCP)
- You bring strong software engineering skills, including experience with secure coding practices and familiarity with common programming languages such as Python or Go
- You have expertise in container security, CI/CD pipelines, and other DevSecOps practices
What the job involves
- Enhance the security posture of the modern cloud infrastructure and services and harden them against abuse and nefarious activity
- Conduct security reviews, threat modeling workshops, and other risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions
- Secure containers and CI/CD pipelines and implement guardrails for the developers aligned with the DevSecOps principles
- Develop tools to secure our infrastructure
- Mentor and train your peers on the latest best practices
- Develop practices and processes to help us securely scale and enable secure operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into daily workflows without slowing progress or creating barriers

Realizing they had the desire to perform different sports at different venues - but that membership options limited this - founders Moritz Kreppel and Benjamin Roth developed Urban Sports Club, where users can combine different sports, checking in and training at more than 12,000 partner venues across Europe.
A 2024 buyout by Qualitas Funds helped to maintain Urban Sports Funds' position as a subscription service. The company has also released a B2B "corporate fitness" offering, to promote better employee health, with clients including Barilla and Denk Werk.

Moritz has had a number of roles including Trainee at the Secretariat General at the European Commission, Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament and Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
