Who you are
- You will bring a strong track record of growth and deep relationship-building experience to provide exceptional client service, uncover revenue-generating opportunities and workable solutions to your customers
- You persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your customer to understand how our product offerings can grow their business
- 10+ years of Global Account Management experience in the payments space
- Proven experience growing and scaling strategic accounts and building multi stakeholder relationships
- Extensive knowledge in fintech, banking, payments and money movement
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email) and track record of creating and executing strategic account plans
- Demonstrated ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organization
- Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to lead team independently
- Strong grasp of industry trends and competitive landscape
- Hands on experience in negotiating contracts, pricing models and renewals
- Proven track record of cross selling and upselling and ability to identify new revenue streams based on customer needs
- Experience leading business reviews and using data driven strategies to make informed decisions
- Proven experience growing and scaling strategic or enterprise accounts
- Proven track record of managing global customers with multi region stakeholders

- As Marqeta’s Key Account Manager, you will partner with a cross-functional team and manage one of our global strategic accounts
- Revenue Overachiever: You love charting a path to ambitious growth targets and hitting/exceeding them
- FinTech Guru: You already have deep knowledge of disruption in the financial services industry or possess a strong desire to learn the ropes while working with the top innovators in the space. You understand the payments space deeply, particularly Card Issuing & Processing
- Numbers Fanatic: You model, plan, and monitor a path to growth (new products, business lines, geographies) based on the right data
