Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency or willingness to learn and code in Typescript (we run language-agnostic coding interviews; Typescript experience is not a hard requirement)
- Experience with developing and maintaining highly scalable and reliable microservices
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and APIs
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, AWS)
- A bias for action, strong ownership, and a passion for clean, pragmatic code
- Experience in leading technical projects (3-9 months horizon)
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English
- Curiosity and openness to work with AI-assisted coding tools
What the job involves
- As a Backend Engineer (f/m/d)* on the Agent Builder Experience Team, you will deliver cutting-edge agent builder tooling
- Together with your team, you will shape the vision for our co-pilot functionality and insights-driven agent optimization journey, fostering a culture of speed, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable backend services
- Optimize system performance for low latency, high throughput, and reliability
- Collaborate across teams to integrate machine learning components into production systems
- Lead technical initiatives - design, planning, implementation, and maintenance (3-9 months horizon)
- Drive initiatives to improve operational excellence
- Contribute to the evolution of our architecture and engineering culture
- Our Tech stack: Python, Typescript, NodeJS, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Kafka
