Who you are
- The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices with a passion for innovation and automation. San Francisco Bay Area candidates strongly preferred due to the proximity to our executive team
- 10+ years of recruiting experience, ideally including time at a high-growth startup
- Proven track record of scaling TA functions in late-stage startups or unicorn-stage companies, ideally with PLG and SMB go-to-market experience
- Deep familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools and a track record of using technology to improve recruiting outcomes
- Experience managing global recruiting teams and hiring across technical, go-to-market, and G&A roles
- Strong operational mindset, with expertise in recruiting metrics, process design, and systems implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a hands-on approach to execution
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to join our rapidly growing technology startup
- This critical leadership role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing global recruiting organization, implementing AI-powered recruiting strategies, and serving as a trusted partner to our executive team
- Lead and scale the Talent Acquisition function to support Apollo’s rapid growth across all business units, including R&D, go-to-market, and G&A
- Design and execute a global recruiting strategy that leverages AI and automation to drive efficiency, quality, and an exceptional candidate experience
- Build and mentor a high-performing TA team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Partner closely with the executive team and senior leaders to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting priorities with business objectives
- Establish and track key recruiting metrics to measure performance, optimize processes, and drive data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with Marketing and People teams to enhance Apollo’s employer brand and attract top-tier candidates
- Implement scalable recruiting operations, tools, and systems to enable a seamless and efficient hiring process
