Who you are
- We care more about your ability to think holistically, design with taste and logic, and leverage AI effectively—these are the skills that will define engineering excellence in the years ahead
- Solid experience in building modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Golang, or similar) with a deep understanding of designing and maintaining RESTful APIs or GraphQL services
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, enabling you to create responsive, visually appealing applications
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions) and comprehensive testing methodologies using tools such as Jest, Cypress, and VRT
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of quickly identifying and resolving complex issues
- Strong time management and organizational capabilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly using version control systems (preferably Git) within a dynamic, cross-functional team
- A commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices

- As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Typeform, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering impactful product features across both the frontend and backend
- Fullstack development—building seamless end-to-end features, debugging complex issues across multiple layers, and designing scalable systems—has become the new standard in SaaS

- At Typeform, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including other engineers, product managers, and designers—to shape the future of our products through thoughtful collaboration and technical leadership
- Build and optimize engaging web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend - and using Node and/or Go on the backend
- Design and implement efficient backend services and APIs to support dynamic and data-intensive functionalities
- Collaborate with our Design team to create reusable, responsive UI components that adhere to established design guidelines
- Develop scalable backend architectures, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability
- Configure, maintain, and improve our GitHub Actions pipelines to streamline continuous integration and deployment across both frontend and backend projects
- Write and maintain unit tests using Jest for frontend components and backend logic
- Implement end-to-end testing with Cypress and VRT to validate overall application functionality and visual consistency
- Lead root-cause analysis exercises and contribute to postmortems following incidents
- Participate in an on-call rota to promptly address alerts from our monitoring systems
- Actively engage in code reviews, share progress updates, and discuss technical challenges with your peers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and coding standards
- Leverage your annual learning budget to attend courses and conferences, keeping you at the forefront of industry trends

The accelerated consumer shift to digital channels and the increasing importance of digital-native brands are driving the need to build closer online engagement with customers. Typeform’s conversational solutions generate higher response rates and provide richer insights to improve consumers’ experiences. The company claims to achieve up to 4x response rates compared to more traditional methods of data collection.
Its product includes integration with other platforms such as Slack and Mailchimp, and face-to-face interactions with videoask. By 2022, Typeform had some 125,000+ paying customers.
The company's Series C funding was put towards more product development, increasing accessibility, and additional integrations. It will also be expanding its 450-strong remote working team globally as it seeks to swell the 500M+ “interactions” its products generate each year.
