Who you are
- The candidate should be passionate about the cybersecurity mission and have a proven history of hyper-creative approaches to product marketing
- 3+ years of product marketing or related experience
- Highly creative—We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of creating messaging, positioning, assets, and supporting campaign concepts that stand out in the marketplace and resonate with prospects. We want someone who isn’t afraid to push the envelope and try new things to help Huntress win new business
- Strong emotional intelligence and a natural collaborator - We’re looking for someone who can work across teams and handle the ups and downs of a rapid-growth company as we scale up. We need a self-starter who is always up for a challenge and takes ownership of their work
- A strong knowledge of the security industry and hacker tradecrafts is desired. Experience with MSP and other channel-driven go-to-market strategies or SMB-focused offerings is desirable. Experience with MDR and service-led offerings is a bonus
- Strong spoken and written communication skills with an ability to break down complex concepts into simple messages. Expertise in collaborating with design and content marketing teams to create a range of different types of content (one-pagers, website content, whitepapers, demo videos, etc.)
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments; with a talent for persuasive communication
- Energy & Mission Focus - Creativity, energy, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to put your stamp on the product and make a big difference for Huntress and the customers we serve. We want someone who believes in the mission of cybersecurity as much as we do
What the job involves
- Reports to: Director, Product Marketing
- Huntress is adding a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for our managed platform. Huntress currently has four products: Managed EDR, Managed ITDR, Managed SAT, and Managed SIEM
- These products are united by growing platform capabilities and our expert SOC service. We are looking for a product marketer to take our platform positioning and messaging to the next level and help Huntress win and maintain more customers
- This position is responsible for the primary aspects of product marketing for the platform and our SOC, including messaging and positioning, content creation, sales enablement, and the overall go-to-market strategy
- You will collaborate across the business from the entire marketing function, sales, product management, and more
- Platform Positioning and Messaging: Develop and evolve a compelling narrative and value proposition for the Huntress Platform and its SOC service. Build content and design campaigns that highlight the platform benefits and also stand out from the competition with bold and exciting messaging
- Product Alignment: Partner with Product Management to drive strategy around product positioning for existing platform capabilities and new launches. You will help plan and launch new offerings, capabilities, and releases to the market
- Sales Enablement: Be the subject matter expert and product evangelist. Work with the sales team to develop programs that help drive the pipeline, convert opportunities, and expand into existing accounts
- Demand Generation: Work with the growth marketing and brand teams to hone the strategy and marketing programs that drive demand. Be proactive in recognizing where the business may need marketing support and the effective levers to pull

The company offers a managed security platform, which third party resellers leverage to protect their clients from attacks. Launched in 2015, Huntress has grown well over the years, attracting plenty of investment and expanding its headcount into the hundreds.
In recent years, Huntress has turned its eye to acquisitions and new product launches, as well as major international expansion. A considerable influx of funding will support these initiatives, as well as allow the company to maintain sales momentum by expanding its go-to-market efforts.
