What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly driven Chief of Staff (f/m/d) to join our fast-growing startup at deskbird - on our mission to redefine how the world works
- As the right hand of our founders, particularly the CEO, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to drive high-impact initiatives across the organization, help shape our long-term strategy, and play a critical role in our ambitious growth journey
- This role is ideal for a top-tier candidate with a background in management consulting, investment banking (M&A), or an impactful role in a high-growth startup

- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Act on behalf of the CEO/Founders to drive cross-functional strategic projects with high importance and urgency that align with deskbird’s mission and growth objectives
- Launch New Products and Verticals: Take ownership for the validation of new product launches, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring successful market entry and laying the foundation for scaling
- Serve as CEO's Liaison: Represent and extend the CEO’s influence across the company and with key external stakeholders, fostering alignment and strong working relationships
- Support Day-to-Day Operations: Assist the CEO in daily decision-making, priority management, and optimization of leadership initiatives
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: Identify and address process bottlenecks, continuously enhancing productivity across all layers of the organization

Swiss-based Deskbird is on route to become Europe’s leading workplace management platform that allows companies to create ordered but flexible environments.
The company has adopted a unique approach to workplace management, offering the first workplace software built around users instead of buildings. Along with standard functionalities like booking resources, the tool that has brought the company unique success is the ability, via mobile app, to identify who of their employees are in the office and thereby schedule meetings accordingly.
Following 2025 funding, the company will invest capital into extending reach across European markets, with a particular focus on expanding its presence in the UK. And it's 10 year plan is to be to workforce management what Salesforce is to CRM. A lofty goal, but the company is certainly setting itself up to achieve this in due time.
