- 7+ years of investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, corporate finance or strategic finance experience

What the job involves
- The individual in this role will serve as a key business partner to leaders of our eCommerce channel and Marketing organization
- You will forecast these businesses, analyze their results, report on performance, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and support special projects
- You will be responsible for aiding the successful execution of our strategy through sound business planning, analysis and reporting
- Develop the annual budget for your business areas in deep consultation with your functional business partners
- Report on business performance monthly, including variance analyzes and key insights
- Build forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis, as dictated by business needs and learnings
- Establish and maintain KPIs
- Support resource allocation discussions and decisions through nuanced analysis
- Proactively identify growth levers, opportunities & risks, and partner with the business to action opportunities and mitigate risks
- Generate timely and accurate financial analyses, reports, and presentations for business partners and executives
- Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely data for your business areas
- Drive accountability in the organization while maintaining trust and effective business relationships
- Become familiar with Glossier’s brand, culture, values, and existing financial processes
- Maintain detailed financial models to support both short- and long-term strategic plans
- Evolve forecasting processes and methodologies to improve accuracy and ensure strong tie into the business
- Continue to monitor and evolve KPIs, identifying leading and lagging indicators of performance
- Where possible, drive automation in both the forecasting and reporting processes
- Use internal databases to build key business reports and dashboards that can be leveraged by leadership
- Contribute to Glossier’s success through sponsorship of positive partnerships with team members across the organization

Weiss, a former stylist and beauty writer, started Glossier as an offshoot of her beauty blog 'Into the Gloss' in 2014. Early on, she got her products into the makeup cabinets of celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Karlie Kloss. Glossier shook up the beauty business by selling items online only in an industry that has always prioritized in-person sales.
Glossier focuses on minimalist products designed with customers' real beauty routines in mind. Its minimalist approach and small number of products mark a stark difference from traditional beauty brands. The company has developed a cult-like following as a beauty brand that emphasises communication with its customers, even involving them in the creation of its products.
The company has experienced impressive growth in recent years, marked by the opening of flagship brick-and-mortar stores in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and London.
