Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in analytics, or related field
- 2+ years in a highly analytical role; preferably in a startup or a SaaS company. Solid math and finance skills are a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
- Use of business intelligence tools to conduct analysis, Tableau and Excel experience a plus
- A passion for technology and a desire to stay updated on the latest trends in data analytics
- Knowledge of SaaS metrics such as churn, retention, and customer lifetime value is a definite plus
- Outstanding organizational and communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills
- Experience working in a high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment
- Results oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and projects and continually bringing new ideas to the table
- Ability to manage own workload, work efficiently, and meet deadlines
What the job involves
- As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in helping us understand our data, optimize our operations, and make data-driven decisions
- This integral role will work closely with the CFO and the Vice President of Finance Operations, and they will report to the Manager of Data Analysis
- Drive improvement of business processes, leveraging Excel, SFDC & Tableau to drive growth and scale
- Partner with our Finance team to ensure the compensation process is in alignment with company goals and running smoothly with accurate data and analysis
- Investigate, clean, and wrangle large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and translate these findings into actionable insights that will drive business decisions
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide easy-to-understand insights for different teams within the organization
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing and R&D leadership to gather requirements and provide data support for various projects and initiatives
- Develop and implement forecasting models to predict future trends, demand, and resource allocation
- Promote a data-driven decision-making culture within the company by providing data training and support to non-technical team members
