Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in a SaaS or proptech environment
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, messaging development, and customer journeys
- Proven ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear customer value
- Experience with platform launches and managing customer communications and migrations
- Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
- Analytical approach and familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and product analytics platforms
- Understanding of the built environment industry (urban planning, real estate, architecture, or infrastructure) is a plus
What the job involves
- This is a new and critical hire within our team, focused on repositioning the VU.CITY platform, migrating existing customers, and expanding into new industries and geographies
- As Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the go-to-market strategy for our new platform, shaping how we communicate the value of VU.CITY to the market and how we support adoption across new and existing customer bases
- You’ll craft compelling positioning, drive product adoption (from first use to full engagement), and support revenue growth through customer insights, enablement tools, and demand generation campaigns
- You'll collaborate across product, tech and commercial teams to ensure alignment between product development and market needs
- Platform Relaunch & Migration: Develop and execute the product marketing strategy for our new platform, including messaging, launch communications, and customer migration planning
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Build and lead go-to-market strategies for platform launches, feature rollouts, and commercial initiatives
- Positioning & Messaging: Define and evolve VU.CITY’s positioning and messaging framework to ensure clarity, differentiation, and resonance with target segments
- Market & Customer Insights: Conduct research and interviews to surface insights that inform product strategy and marketing execution
- Sales Enablement: Create compelling sales collateral, battle cards, presentations, and training resources to support revenue teams
- Product Adoption & Retention: Partner with the account management team to improve onboarding, engagement, and customer communications to drive adoption and reduce churn
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor offerings and market dynamics to refine messaging and uncover opportunities for differentiation
- Content Leadership: Oversee product-related content, including thought leadership, case studies, and customer stories
- Demand Generation Collaboration: Work with marketing colleagues to ensure product positioning is well represented across campaigns and lead-generation initiatives
- Performance Measurement: Track and report on product marketing KPIs including adoption rates, retention, campaign impact, and customer feedback

3D modelling is very commonly used now to analyse and communicate the impact of both existing and new development plans. It can look at zoning regulation, traffic gravity and solar potential of buildings – to name a few. VU.CITY is a city planning tech company creating “digital twins” for some of the world’s largest cities.
The company has already created models for 24 UK cities and has expanded internationally modelling New York and Dublin also. In short, the idea behind VU.CITY is to help real estate developers to make better design and planning decisions. This idea could have immense impact to the efficiency of cities both logistically but also environmentally which is a very appealing factor.
The smart design platform recently closed a round of funding which the company suggest marks the next stage of its growth as it also signs the beginning of a partnership with Ramboll (global engineering and design consultancy). The opportunities for the platform itself along with the collaboration is very exciting and we’re interested to see the large scale impact the company can have on our cities as it scales.
