Role
Who you are
- Working cross functionally in fintech / financial services / digital assets to launch new products from 0 to 1
- Significant experience within Financial Services and/or Payments or Crypto
- Strong experience selling B2B enterprise technology into European enterprises
- Experience selling in regulated environments
- Experience selling in a fast moving and dynamic industry
Desirable
- A deep knowledge of the digital asset ecosystem, with a particular focus on stablecoins
- A passion for working in highly dynamic and ambiguous environments where you’ve proven you can be successful despite challenges from internal and external factors
- An incredibly strong desire to learn, work hard and be a part of a winning team
- Excitement for building things which have never been done or built before and have global impact to provide broader access to financial services for people’s lives
- An understanding of Sandler sales methodology and SalesForce
- Residence in Holland, Germany, or France (but not a necessity)
What the job involves
- Growth is the team at Paxos which builds and manages partnerships with members of Global Dollar Network and clients of our Brokerage platform
- The Global Sales team is focused on working with companies across both traditional and crypto native financial infrastructure to help them leverage drive utility from our infrastructure and assets
- Source, negotiate and close partnerships with executives at enterprises across both traditional and crypto-native finance
- You’ll work with these clients to help them launch innovative new products across the fintech, payments and financial institution landscape
- Work hand-in-hand with Paxos leadership and relevant stakeholders to execute our strategy and leverage our resources strategically
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal & Finance to build new product solutions and take them to market
- Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, our regulation-first approach, and more!
- Travel around Europe and potentially further afield attending conferences and representing Paxos
Our take
Paxos develops regulation-compliant infrastructure services for companies looking to add features like crypto brokerages or branded stablecoins to their customer offerings. Its focus on regulatory compliance, and its status as one of only three national trusts born in the crypto ecosystem, gives it an edge in building a unique and global network of enterprise customers.
Cryptocurrency remains a risky sector, so a company at the forefront of crypto regulation is proving highly attractive to a growing sector of enterprises tentatively dipping their toes in. It is pushing ahead of competitors as one of the largest crypto/blockchain startups with substantial funding and an impressive valuation.
Its growth has been backed up by material results, too. It has established relationships with firms like Bank of America, Credit Suisse and Mastercard. PayPal also leverages Paxos on its backend to enable its users to buy, sell and hold crypto. This proven success with an expanding roster of big-name clients is very impressive, as is the company's success in receiving approval to convert to an OCC National Trust Bank.
