What the job involves

As a founding software engineer, you'll play a crucial part and exert a substantial influence on the engineering team, our technical vision, and the company as a whole
You'll be on the front lines with the founders, making key product decisions, launching innovative features, and playing a pivotal role in guiding and growing the engineering team
Your work will directly raise the standards for how care is orchestrated and delivered, profoundly impacting the thousands of patients who use Gradia
Spearhead new feature initiatives spanning all parts of our tech stack, varying from backend data pipelines to frontend redesigns
Play a crucial role in hiring, interviewing, and have a strong say in finding A players to expand the existing engineering team
Help set operational best practices and tech standards as we rapidly scale the team and user base
Move fast and ship changes that affect thousands of patients without being dragged down by bureaucratic engineering policies/oversight

It's a high-touch model creating access for patients to specialists and virtual teams.

With funding from the likes of YCombinator and Atlanta Ventures, Gradia Health is focused on scaling its platform, building its team, and finalising its care pathways alongside physicians.

Gradia Health has had a significant impact so far, partnering with several multi-provider clinics. There is further opportunity in the space, with 60-70 million Americans suffering from chronic GI conditions. With this in mind, the company is focused on increasing its patient base and expanding its offering to other specialties.
