Role
Who you are
- Youâve worked in Operations before, ideally in a B2B environment and know what itâs like to scale things quickly, especially in a utility or similar setting
- Youâve hands-on experience with Agentic tools (like AI assistants or automated systems) in a customer service context, and if youâve led or owned that work that improves a process
- Youâre a natural problem-solver who thrives on finding smart, efficient solutions. Youâre great at connecting the dots between data, past experience, and whatâs happening in the moment

What the job involves
- đ˘ Resolving Customer Issues
- Own the resolution of post-onboarding customer operational problems, stepping in hands-on when needed
- Track issues to identify recurring patterns and bottlenecks
- Adapt processes, introduce agentic tools, or work with Product to eliminate friction points at scale
- đ˘ Building Better Systems
- Map and improve our end-to-end customer service workflows
- Define clear categories for customer issues and establish triaging protocols
- Implement automation where possible and collaborate on SLAs and KPIs
- đ˘ Agentic Strategy & Oversight
- Identify high-impact areas for automated agent support based on data and system mapping
- Collaborate to design, test, and optimise agentic solutions
- Monitor performance and expand the agent function over time, using feedback and metrics to guide improvements

Our take
Tem is a next-gen energy transactions company that changes the way renewable energy is bought, sold and powered. Rebalancing the playing field away from "Big Energy", tem creates affordable, traceable and smart energy transaction management tools.
The company is still in its early stages, but it looks set to provide businesses and consumers access to the same financial benefits as Big Energy companies by distributing its own purchased energy to customers. Once theyâre signed up, customers are matched with a suitable generator, and the tem platform helps execute contracts, take payments, and manage invoicing.
This is a truly disruptive concept - and could prove to be a successful one. Whilst UK consumers are notoriously hesitant to switch providers, recent soaring energy prices could lure many into giving it a go.
tem is going to get a run for its money, though. A similar platform in the US, Tesseract, is slated for launch around the same time, and with an ex-Revolut founder and handsome funding under its belt, is generating real buzz.
