Who you are
- We’re looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Director who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and build with us — through the grind and the wins
- Proven experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales with complex, consultative deal cycles
- Strong hunter mentality with consistent success generating outbound opportunities
- Experience selling to C-level and senior decision-makers
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, BANT, COM)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable using AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI)
- Curious, resilient, and motivated by ownership and impact
- Native-level fluency in Dutch and English is required, and proficiency in any additional European language is strongly preferred
- Baseline expectation: familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude AI and Notion AI to accelerate daily work
- As a senior commercial leader, you are expected to evaluate, adopt, and responsibly use AI solutions to improve decision-making, forecasting accuracy, and sales effectiveness
- We don’t expect mastery of all — but we expect comfort learning, experimenting, and adopting AI responsibly
What the job involves
- Drive enterprise growth in the Netherlands by closing high-impact, strategic deals
- Create meaningful impact by enabling large-scale EV charging adoption across key industries
- Translate Monta’s vision into commercial success through focused execution and ownership
- Solve complex, high-stakes problems in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Own and execute Monta’s enterprise sales strategy in the Netherlands
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through contract signature
- Prospect and close net-new enterprise customers across energy, mobility, fleet, real estate, and infrastructure verticals
- Lead senior-level negotiations using value-based selling principles
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene
- Represent Monta at industry events and contribute market insights to GTM strategy
Our take
Monta is an EV charging company that is building ways to make it easier to charge EVs from wherever you are. In order to do so, the company is working to digitise the EV charging ecosystem via a charging management platform.
Transforming mobility is a leading global effort towards a greener society and European cities are rapidly seeing the uptake of electric vehicles. In spite of this, there is a dearth of EV charging points, and Monta is trying to rectify this issue through its unique all-in-one EV charging platform, which makes charging vehicles simple and seamless, thereby increasing the adoption of a more sustainable method of transport.
Monta has invested its efforts toward opening up new markets, specifically North America, whilst consolidating its market position in Scandinavia, the UK, and Germany, as well as creating transparency within the electricity market and continuing to fund digitising the power grid infrastructure. Alongside this, the company recently partnered with Octopus Fleet to support the expansion of its fleet and energy services. This partnership strengthens Monta's role in large-scale fleet electrification and puts the company in a strong position as demand for reliable EV charging continues to grow.
