Role
Who you are
- Multi year experience delivering technically complex products to market. Especially useful would be experience building products with marketplace dynamics
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate the nuances of technology infrastructure and engineering decisions
- Demonstrable experience leading multi-discipline teams through discovery and implementation of high impact product iterations at pace
- Ability to work with high levels of ambiguity, where problems are difficult to fully understand and solutions are not obvious
- Exceptional organisational and coordination skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams and stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen, balanced with ability to understand customer needs
- Data driven approach with ability to define the right metrics to measure
- Demonstrable ability to simplify complex concepts through written and verbal communication
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Manager at Elder, you will play a key role in driving our business strategy by unlocking product capability to deliver against our mission of being the UK’s leading and most trusted care finding marketplace
- Reporting into the CPTO you will be empowered to lead the Product and Technology capability as part of the multi-disciplinary “Manage” squad
- This will include leveraging not only your product and technology skills but also operational, clinical and other capabilities required to deliver the squad's mission to enable families and carers to independently manage their ongoing care relationship by providing the necessary tools and appropriate operational support to enable a high-quality experience
- You will be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the squad owning the Product roadmap and its execution from inception to completion
- Foster a collaborative environment, facilitating cross-team communication and problem-solving to achieve defined outcomes. This includes closely collaborating on all squad activities with the Director of Clinical & Commercial Operations who is the commercial DRI for the Manage squad and collaborating with other squad DRIs and exec sponsors to identify, align and implement strategies that drive overall business objectives
- Lead discovery activities to identify, then implement, product capability that enable efficient management of ongoing care relationships between families and carers which will include customer support, engagement and retention, revenue generation, product switching and other key activities
- Lead prioritisation and effectively work with your technology, design and domain expert colleagues to make the right trade-offs so iterations are delivered quickly, efficiently and are of high quality
- Apply sound experiment design principles to support decision-making and processes where appropriate
- Understand the meaningful impact your squad’s work has for families, carers and the wider business
- Build relationships with stakeholders in your product area and bring them on journeys aligned to your shared goals
