Who you are

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our API team
Someone who is a thoughtful leader, thrives on ownership, drives accountability, and supports their team in achieving their goal
We also desire those who can balance rapid development with high product quality, are innovative and comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about building scalable and robust systems
At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutions
At least 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer with progressive growth
Experience working with .Net (C#) or similar frameworks
Experience hiring, developing and managing engineering talent
Experience with owning and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environments
Capable of deep troubleshooting and discovering root causes of problems
Experience creating and documenting system design and architecture
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work effectively within and across departments
Experience working within a DevOps environment
Experience collaborating with product managers/owners on initiative planning & solutioning
Excellent organization skills - ability to work effectively and independently prioritize tasks

What the job involves

Manage and lead a team of software development engineers, set goals, assign tasks, and review performance
Own and drive the implementation of complex product features. Manage the support and maintenance of systems after release
Work cooperatively with cross-functional teams of project managers, testers, and customer representatives within a system development life cycle
Mentor software engineers on software programming and design best practices. Drive programming excellence and discipline, including the production of high-quality and maintainable code
Constantly improve the development processes, tools and methodologies used by developers
Promote teamwork and problem resolution. Foster an environment of open discussion, debate, and questioning while always maintaining professionalism and respect for others
Identify and recommend new technology directions and platforms

Healthcare organizations have long suffered from poor access to real-time credentialing data, meaning that they may find it difficult to ensure their patients and customers that staff members are who they say they are. Verifiable has built an automation tool that can quickly undertake healthcare credentialing and compliance processes, verifying a healthcare provider’s background information, skills, and competency levels.

Boasting the ability to accelerate credentialing processes from weeks to days, it’s no surprise that Verifiable’s API-first approach has attracted nearly $50 million in investment. It has expanded its focus to enterprise customers as well as healthcare providers and has a lucrative partnership with Salesforce. Its 2023 round of funding will be funnelled into expanding the latter, whilst also growing its team and product line.
