Who you are
- The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of professional Marketing experience with 3 years in an SEO-focused role
- The candidate has a proven track record of successfully implementing SEO strategies and improving organic search rankings. Familiarity with SEO strategies relevant to subscription-based business models is considered a plus
- The candidate has in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, emerging trends and industry tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc)
- The ideal candidate has a strong ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and make informed decisions to improve SEO performance. They are experienced in using data insights to guide strategic SEO decisions and measure the effectiveness of initiatives
- The candidate has a solid understanding of content management systems (CMS) and website development processes to effectively implement SEO strategies
- With a mindset focused on adapting to changes, learning from experiences, and seeking innovative ways to achieve growth, the candidate is comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment where agility is essential
- Experience in the healthcare sector with an understanding of healthcare-related search trends and keywords is considered a plus
- You thrive on the evolution of your craft, readily embracing market changes and adapting accordingly
- You demonstrate a commitment to ownership and an ability to both strategize and dive into operational details
- You are a proactive self-starter capable of taking projects from initiation to fruition while driving impactful outcomes
What the job involves
- As an SEO Manager, you will play a key role in achieving our purpose by developing and implementing a full-funnel SEO strategy to enhance Maple’s organic traffic and user acquisition across our website as the company scales
- Monitoring and analyzing website performance using SEO tools to identify optimization opportunities
- Performing regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, broken links, and site speed optimization
- Collaborating with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation, including keyword integration, meta tags, and internal linking
- Identifying and executing high-impact SEO projects to drive and convert high-quality organic traffic and establish Maple as a challenger brand
- Overseeing SEO performance reporting, highlighting changes in organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rates, domain authority, page speed, and conversions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging SEO practices to continuously enhance Maple's SEO efforts
- Critical to success in this role will be your metric-driven approach, coupled with a growth mindset
- 12 – 18 MONTH DELIVERABLES
- Within 90 days, you will conduct an SEO audit to identify areas of opportunity. You will collaborate closely with the Content team to develop new content as well as optimize existing content
- You will also set up regular monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the impact of SEO initiatives
- In the next 12 to 18 months, you will develop a comprehensive SEO Strategy for optimizing website content, improving technical SEO, and building backlinks
- You will execute larger-scale, cross-functional SEO projects that significantly drive Maple's growth trajectory
- Furthermore, you will collaborate with our Performance Team to synergize efforts across paid and organic search channels, driving operational efficiency and results while acting as the catalyst for ongoing SEO experiments that elevate revenue growth
