Our take
Blogging is a popular way for those with shared interests to connect and share knowledge, but on a large blog-hosting platform it can be hard to connect with the community you are looking to reach. Hashnode is a blogging platform dedicated to the software community, designed to connect developers worldwide and support the knowledge sharing economy.
Users can blog on their personal domain, own and share their ideas, get paid for writing, and connect with the community; with the platform also providing automatic backup to private GitHub repos, automated SSl cert renewal, and more. The company also provides a Teams version of the product, allowing businesses to use Hashnode for their tech and engineering blogs, to reach the global dev community.
Hashnode hosts over 50,000 active blogs, some written by notable tech industry names. Funds raised by the company are cited to go towards growing the platform’s user base, on top of hiring new talent, expanding operations, and rolling out new features. The latter includes Rigs, an AI-powered search application for developers wanting to expand their coding knowledge.
