VP of Product, Planday

• You have extensive experience delivering innovative consumer and/or B2B Product experiences successfully
• You possess a deep understanding of the Product Mindset and have experience of taking teams from ‘good’ to ‘great’
• You have taken a series of successful products from ideation to full launch, and iterated to success using Design Thinking and/or agile methodologies
• You have experience of hiring, coaching, and growing high-performing teams of product managers in a complex, global organisation
• You are a “do-er,” willing to work hands-on, including stepping into working directly with a development team in a product role, if needed
• You are capable of formulating and communicating bold and far-reaching product vision and strategy, whether it be to your team or to senior stakeholders
• You have strong influencing skills and can adroitly navigate a complex and matrixed organisation
• You are a change agent, helping us build a customer-centric world-class product development culture
• You are open to travel

Desirable

• In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving the vision across key pillars of our strategy
• You will be building and leading a team of highly talented Group Product Managers, Senior Product Managers, Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, and you will have direct and significant impact in the entire Planday organization
• Developing an end-to-end global product vision and strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Evangelizing the product strategy across the organization at all levels with energy, enthusiasm, and passion
• Building and managing a team consisting of Product Directors, Senior Product Managers, and PMs, who lead the product development of their respective full stack teams
• Being accountable for defining and owning a clear set of business metrics
• Acting as a key part of the product leadership team, reporting into the Chief Product Officer (CPO)
• Owning and driving cross-team product initiatives
• Working closely with tech, design, and analytics counterparts to lead and grow the Product Domain
• Collaborating closely with all parts of the business and influencing stakeholders at the senior level and C-Suite
