Who you are
- We are looking for a strong product, pricing and market background and demonstrated success in all areas of strategy development and execution including project management, business analysis and problem solving
- We look for hardworking people with strong executive communication and consensus building capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in an unstructured, collaborative environment is ideal
- Management consulting and technology market experience is appreciated
- 6-10 years of experience or 2+ years post-MBA experience in a combination of strategy, business operations, pricing in a technology company, and top-tier consulting firm / corporate strategy field with strong exposure to technology
- Experience driving large initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis to building the business and operational plans through to driving execution to success is required
- Strong mathematical, data handling and financial skills to work on sophisticated business issues with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership and excellent written / verbal communications to work with senior executives across various geographies and functions; comfort in business and technical discussions
- Strong influencing skills; able to build and drive extended and virtual teams
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
What the job involves
- The Strategy team at Saviynt is focused on achieving results for the company through performance management, operational cadence, and strategic initiatives
- We drive projects pertaining to product and corporate level initiatives
- As a Sr. Manager of Strategy, you will help develop and execute strategies that drive growth and operational improvements in the business
- Projects include formulating strategic priorities all the way through execution plans, developing pricing strategies, uncovering insights, conducting market and customer research to drive new opportunities for growth and expansion
- You will also partner with our leaders to drive the operational cadence, measure critical initiatives, and assist in the preparation of content for executive discussions
- In this role, you will work on highly sophisticated problems, gain insight into the strategic issues which are at the forefront in the minds of the leadership team, have exposure to senior-level decision-making and have the chance to create relationships with functions across the company
- Drive highly visible projects for Saviynt; Work cross-functionally to structure problems, analyze opportunities, and work towards solutions and meaningful recommendations and results through a thorough, fact-based process
- Develop strategies working with cross-functional teams outlining business opportunity, rationale, and operating plans to capture the opportunity including product, pricing, GTM strategies, and business model
- Provide insights to the business through analytics and market research as required (e.g. market, customer, competitors)
- Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock growth and provide clarity towards execution
Our take
Saviynt’s Identity Governance and Administration platform helps secure access to corporate systems in the cloud such as Workday, Office 365, AWS, Salesforce, SAP and Hadoop. It was created to offer an innovative, modern solution as its founder believed that existing identity services were not optimized.
By spending its early years in stealth mode, developing its product technology and switching to a cloud based model, the company was well prepared for a quick up-scale. This has been achieved partly because of the fact that it favours targeting large companies, boasting clients like Marriott, BP, KuppingerCole and Toyota Connected.
Saviynt faces a major rival in the form of SailPoint, which was an earlier entrant in the space, and went public sooner. However, Saviyntnt is growing rapidly and has converted some notable customers from SailPoint in the process. The company has continually invested in its platform to maintain a competitive edge, earning industry recognition along the way, and has recently concentrated on securing new customers and growing its partner ecosystem.
