Role
Who you are
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High-level understanding of the enterprise data space
- At least one year of customer facing sales experience, ideally with previous SDR/BDR experience at a B2B technology company
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, Common Room, and / or similar marketing and sales technologies, or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
What the job involves
- Airbyte is rapidly growing our Enterprise customer segment
- The Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role within the Marketing team, working closely with the Enterprise Sales team, to generate new sales opportunities
- This strategic position is dedicated to identifying key decision makers and generating sales meetings within Enterprise accounts
- Hunt and prospect into named enterprise accounts and generate meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to data analysts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Enterprise Account Executives to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals
- Demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise customers’ data challenges and pain points while being able to give an intro to how Airbyte solves them
- Create personalized outreach cadences specific to the account and use case
- Log activity, categorize sales lead information, and collect and share customer feedback internally

Historically, data teams have had to build and maintain their own data connectors, often having to work around pre-built connectors, as most “long tail” data connectors are not supported by closed-source ELT technologies.
Airbyte’s open-source data integration platform is setting the new standard of moving and consolidating data from different sources to data warehouses, data lakes, or databases, enabling teams to adapt pre-built connectors to fit their unique needs.
Over the last year, more than 9,000 companies have synced data using Airbyte, connecting PostgreSQL, Facebook Ads, Salesforce, Stripe, (and more) to destinations including Snowflake, BigQuery Databricks and Redshift. The company also made a strategic move in acquiring Grouparoo and integrating with Dagster.
The unicorn company has raised significant Series B capital (led by Altimeter Capital and Coatue Management). Since its launch in mid-2020, Airbyte has become the fastest-growing open-source data integration platform, and launched the first open-source Python library for moving data, indicating that it is well set to maintain its growth trend.
