Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies, including agile development

What the job involves

As a Product Manager at Sumus, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the definition and execution of the MVP phase, ensuring that it aligns with our overall product vision and goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to deliver a high-quality and impactful MVP that addresses user needs and drives business growth
MVP Strategy and Definition: Work closely with the leadership team to define the scope, objectives, and key features of the MVP. Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and analyze industry trends to inform the MVP roadmap
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including users, internal teams, and external partners, to understand their needs and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements. Define user stories, prioritize features, and create detailed product specifications
MVP Development and Execution: Manage the end-to-end development process of the MVP, from concept to launch. Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. Continuously iterate and refine the MVP based on user feedback and market insights
User Experience and Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Ensure that the MVP's interface and functionality align with industry best practices, usability standards, and Sumus' brand guidelines
Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development. Collaborate effectively to ensure seamless coordination and alignment throughout the MVP development process
Performance Tracking and Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the MVP and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor its performance. Analyze data, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Iterate on the MVP based on data-driven insights
User Testing and Feedback: Plan and conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback and insights on the MVP's usability, functionality, and overall user experience. Incorporate user feedback into product iterations and improvements
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate the progress, challenges, and successes of the MVP to stakeholders, including the leadership team and relevant teams across the organization. Provide regular updates on the MVP's development timeline, milestones, and potential risks
Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to sustainable e-commerce platforms. Leverage this knowledge to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in the MVP
