Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-4+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a related role
- Proficiency in CRM software (ideally Salesforce) and data analysis programs (e.g., Excel/Google sheets, Looker)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in or with a sales team with an understanding of sales processes
- Experience working with sales compensation plans
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and create cohesive reporting
- Experience using Salesforce is not required but highly preferred
What the job involves
- The Commercial Operations Specialist will be responsible for commercial reporting to a wide range of audiences both internal and external at Cleerly. This role will also be key to our sales compensation process including calculating and paying out of commissions. There will also be ad hoc requests that this role will work collaboratively on with the rest of the Commercial Operations team
- At Cleerly, we collaborate digitally and use a wide variety of systems. Our people use Google Workspace (GMail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom Video, prior experience in these areas is a plus. Role or department specific technology needs may vary and will be listed as requirements in the job description
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track sales performance and provide insights to executives (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Assist with manual data pulls and analysis including sourcing, cleaning, and visualization
- Assist with board meeting preparation, investor requests, and other executive reporting requests
- Prepare Salesforce data (ie, opportunities) for new fiscal year including cloning opportunities to align with new territories, pricing, and contract types
- Prepare commission statements for sales team quarterly; design commission estimation calculator for Sales team
- Assist Director of Commercial Operations with weekly commission preparation as well as quarterly commission payouts
- Assist with deal approval and deal scorecards
Our take
For all the advancements made in modern medicine, it’s remarkable that cardiovascular diseases still cause around 18 million deaths every year. The WHO estimates that these diseases account for, or contribute to, around 30% of deaths each year.
Traditional heart disease evaluation methods, such as a coronary angiogram, can be invasive - a catheter is threaded through the arm or leg to reach the heart, where it injects dye into its arteries so X-ray images can capture how blood flows through the vessels.
Though serious complications from the procedure are rare, they potentially include injury to the artery, an allergic reaction or kidney damage from the dye, as well as heart attack or stroke. This is a problem that Cleerly is trying to solve by measuring this plaque through AI-powered imaging which analyzes non-invasive coronary CT scans.
The company was founded by the respected cardiologist and radiologist James Min in 2017 and spent its early years developing and refining its tech. However, it recently secured major financial backing, which coincides with CTA imaging’s growing status as a priority measure for patients with suspected heart problems. This is set to propel Cleerly into a period of rapid growth as it looks to keep refining its software to attract and keep new customers in the healthcare industry.
